Luis F. Benedit (Argentina, 1937-2011).

As a visual artist and architect, he explored the relationship between art and science, and critically addressed national identity and nature. He traveled to Spain to specialize and created the Barba Azul ambientation at Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires. His work, from informalism to Grupo de los Trece, includes installations and habitats that analyze behavior in artificial contexts. He was featured at the Venice Biennale and had a retrospective exhibition in 1996.
