Analía Zalazar (Argentina, 1968)

Initially inspired by Gustav Klimt, she explored gilding and its ornaments. She then focused her interest on spatiality, creating three-dimensional paintings with transparent gauze layers. Her action Envolver [Wrapping] makes use of tissue paper to evoke absence. She was selected for national and international awards, with works included in several collections.
