Clorindo Testa (Italy, 1923-Argentina, 2013)


He graduated as an architect in 1947 at Universidad de Buenos Aires. Influenced by Le Corbusier, he worked at Oficina del Plan de Buenos Aires. Prolific in architecture and art, he designed iconic buildings such as Banco de Londres and Biblioteca Nacional. He was a member of the Siete pintores abstractos group and he was featured at the Grupo de los Cinco exhibition at Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1960. He was also a member of Grupo CAyC (Center for Art and Communication Group). In 2012 he curated the Argentinean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
