Emilio Renart (Argentina, 1925-1991)
His work challenges the boundaries between sculpture and painting, and between artist and researcher. He graduated from Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón and won the Premio Especial-Instituto Di Tella and Premio Braque in 1964. He represented Argentina at the São Paulo Biennial in 1967. He received the Premio Konex in 1982, and a homage show was held at Centro Cultural Borges in Buenos Aires in 2002.
