Alejandro Puente (Argentina, 1933-2013)
He attended Escuela de Bellas Artes at La Plata. He co-founded Grupo Sí and had a show at Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires in the sixties. His work, focused on sensitive geometry, was featured in major events such as Semana de Arte Avanzado [Advanced Art Week]. He was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and was included in the Information exhibition at MoMA, New York, in 1970. He was awarded the Gran Premio-Salón Nacional in 2001 and Premio Konex in 2002.
