Helmut Newton (Weimar Republic, 1920-United States, 2004)
Considered one of the most important photographers of the twentieth century, his style combines elegance, sophistication and seduction, with an emphasis on female nudes and stilettos. After fleeing Berlin, he worked in Singapore and Australia, and collaborated for Vogue magazine in several countries. He achieved success with his exhibition in Paris in 1975. His White Women book stands out among his publications. He received many international awards. The Helmut Newton Foundation was established in Berlin in 2003.
