Gimena Macri (Argentina, 1986)
Her works are intimate and confessional, evoking a personal diary. She uses themes such as landscapes, urban spaces, interiors, and texts, to reinterpret abstract works by women. She obtained a degree in Visual Arts with a focus on painting from Universidad Nacional de las Artes and attended art clinics and residencies in San Francisco and Berlin. She received an award at Salón Nacional de Rosario in 2009. She had shows in Argentina and the United States.
