Horacio Zabala (Argentina, 1943)

An artist and architect, he relocated to Europe in 1976; he lived in Rome, Vienna, and Geneva for twenty-two years. He held his first solo show in 1967 and published his first theoretical text in 1972. He presented Anteproyectos [Blueprints] at CAyC [Center for Art and Communication] in 1973, an exhibition that denoted the beginning of his analytical line. His works, making use of minimal visual languages and heterogeneous media, critique the social and aesthetic context of information and fiction.
