Christian Falsnaes (Denmark, 1980)
He explores the notions of ritual, group mentality and the role of the artist facing individual will. The spectator-performer is involved through directives given by Falsnaes or pre-recorded tapes. He studied philosophy in Copenhagen and arts in Vienna. He had exhibitions at organizations such as KW Berlin and the National Gallery of Denmark; he received awards, such as the Prix K-Way Per4m in 2015 and attended the ISCP residency. He was also a Startstipendium für Bildende Kunst scholarship recipient in 2012.
