Tomás Espina (Argentina, 1975)
As a child and teenager, he lived in several countries before moving to Córdoba and then to Buenos Aires, where he graduated from Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in 2005. He won important scholarships and awards and showed his work around the world. His practice, including drawing, painting, installation, and sculpture, explores the processes and the repercussions they generate. His works with gunpowder stand out, positioned between burning explosions and traces of ash.
