Matías Duville (Argentina, 1974)
He studied at Escuela Superior de Artes Visuales Martín Malharro in Mar del Plata. His work, focused on the experimentation of media and materials, is mainly developed subsequent to drawing; it explores themes such as tension between opposites, mutation, and time. He took part in Guillermo Kuitca’s Programa de Becas para Artistas Jóvenes [Young Artists Scholarship Program], among others, and remarkable exhibitions at Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires and Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro.
