Claudia Alarcón (Argentina, 1989).


She belongs to the native Argentinean Wichí community and lives near the Pilcomayo River in Salta. She makes artisanal cloth with chaguar thread, a craft she learned from the older women in her family, creating images with the shapes and colors of the region. She founded the Thañí organization. Her work was featured in exhibitions in Salta and Berlin, among others.
