Raúl Alonso (Argentina, 1923-1993)
He was one of Argentina's greatest illustrators, famous for his Claudia magazine covers, signed “Kali.” Self-taught, he devoted himself to pastel and oil in his last two decades. He traveled to Europe in 1958 for the Universal Exhibition in Brussels and received several awards, including Gran Premio de Honor-Salón Nacional in 1975.
